Position: Events & Operations Coordinator
Reports To: Programs Manager
Location: Remote & On-Location, as needed (travel required)
Employment Type: Part-Time (25 - 35 hours per week)

Position Summary
The Events & Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning,
logistics, operations, and execution of Reach and Teach's educational programs,
events, and live experiences. Reporting directly to the Programs Manager, this
position ensures that every program and event is organized, safe, well-equipped, and
delivered with excellence.

 

This role serves as the operational backbone for Reach and Teach by coordinating
event logistics, managing equipment and transportation, supporting student
engagement, maintaining organizational assets, and overseeing the administrative
details necessary for successful educational programming and live events. The
Events & Operations Coordinator works closely with staff, contractors, volunteers,
educators, community partners, and vendors to create exceptional experiences for
students and stakeholders.

Employment Type: Part-Time (<20 hours per week)

Position Summary
The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for executing Reach and
Teach’s marketing, communications, and digital engagement strategies. This
position manages and creates content for the organization’s social media platforms,
website, email newsletters, podcast, photography, videography, graphic design,
public relations, and fundraising communications.

 

Working closely with staff, students, educators, mentors, volunteers, sponsors,
donors, and community partners, the Marketing & Communications Specialist shares
the impact of Reach and Teach’s educational programs and live experiences. The
position helps increase organizational visibility, program participation, community
engagement, volunteer involvement, partnership opportunities, and fundraising
support while maintaining a consistent and compelling brand.
